The Need for Evangelism

When it comes to witnessing to others about Jesus Christ, we Christians are often intimidated into acquiescing to the status quo and forgetting about proclaiming the Gospel. We appease our consciences by writing a check to the missions program or supporting VBS or getting involved in some human rights movement. None of these things are bad in and of themselves, but they are not evangelism and quite often do not even involve evangelism.
